Meet Our Dogs
  Bluwave Collies is a small hobby kennel located in the Northwest Hills of Connecticut.
We breed for Health,Temperament,Intelligence and Conformation; While keeping the elegance of this lovely breed. Here our dogs do it all... I purchased my first Collie in 2003, a Tri rough male named Tristan who was to become my first conformation dog. Though he did not turn out to be my ideal of the collie, he was owner/handled to 7 points before retiring from the breed ring in 2006. Tristan was a wonderful dog to learn and grow with. After Falling in love with the breed, We decided to search for another Rough (a female this time) with outstanding temperament,soundness and beauty .Mary Jackson of Riverrun Collies was kind enough to offer a me a beautiful puppy out of Ch. Long Acre No Doubt About it X Ch. Riverrun Song Of Storms. Lyric, set the foundation for Bluwave Collies with the birth of her first litter here in July 2008. Bluwave Collies is happy to announce that my sister (Andrea Chiselbrook Travis) is now a part of the Bluwave team. With the purchase of her new puppy a Vince daughter, Wellsmere Me and My Shadow “Jada”. We will continue to work together breeding and showing healthy quality collies. Our dogs are not only great show dogs, but they are excellent companion dogs as well. Both Tristan and Lyric are certified therapy dogs with Delta society. We take extreme pride in the fact that our dogs are not kennel dogs ; they are first and foremost our companions and they eat,live and sleep indoors when they are not running free in their large backyard. All of our dogs are health and temperament tested.
