Our Foundation Bitch Riverrun Bluwave's Serenade "Lyric" produced our very first litter here in July 2008.In this litter of 5 she produced 4 boys and 1 girl the breakdown was 3 smooth boys,1 rough boy and a smooth girl of the 5 puppies 3 of them went in to show homes including the one male that I kept (Vince). In her fist litter Lyric produced the puppy flyer Vince (Ch. Bluwave's Speak Of the Devil) who finished his championship at 10 months old in a short 4 month campagin.
Lyric comes from Mary Jackson of Riverrun Collies in Ridgefield,CT and we can not thank her enough for all her wonderful support and entrusting us with this wonderful girl and being their with me as I whelped my first litter. Lyric is Linebred on the beautiful "Brandon" Ch. Fantasy's Bronze Talisman ROM ( being from Long Acre,Fantasy and Vennesee lines). Lyric is a great mother and a great showdog in limited showing she has earned 7 points and several BOB wins.We hope to get her finished by the end of this year and hope to have another litter or two out of her before retirement.
Lyric is a dream come true..she touches the hearts of everyone she meets and they just fall in love.She has blessed us with a beautiful litter and a wonderful Collie Temperament .Lyric is the True meaning of Collie in every since of the word.
Though we are just getting started down this road, we have made great memories and wonderful friends thus far and we can't wait to see where Bluwave Collies stands in the future.
