Our Foundation bitch Riverrun Bluwave's Serenade "Lyric" produced our very first and last litter here on July 28, 2008. In her very first litter Lyric produced "puppy flyer" Vince (GCH. Bluwave's Speak Of The Devil) With this first litter Lyric produced 5 babies 4 boys 1 girl; 4 smooth and 1 rough. Of the 3 puppies that went into show homes (including Vince) one is finished and Grand Championed, 1 has 12 points both majors (from specialites) and the other just needing his majors to finish.
Lyric is line bred on the beautiful "Brandon" Ch. Fantasy's Bronze Talisman ROM. Lyric comes from the lines of Fantasy,Long Acre,Galatean and Vennessee. Lyric is a great mother, while not so fond of the show ring in limited shows she aquired 8 points and several BOV wins and a puppy group 3rd before being retired in 2011.
Lyric is a dream come true. She touches the hearts of everyone she meets and they just fall in love,she has blessed us with one beautiful litter and a georgous son to carry on the tradition and that wonderful collie temerpament. Lyric is the true meaning of the Collie in every since of the word.
We have decided that Lyric will be retired from our breeding program and will remain a couch potato here with us where she will continue to be the spoiled princess she is. We are however, going to bring her back out in the fall to try and finish her championship. Once she has completed her title she will spayed. We may work on obedience and maybe return to therapy work..
