Tristan was my first show dog. Before his retirement in November 2006, Tristan and I earned 7 points towards his Championship. Tristan also earned his CGC title as a puppy; he is now also a Delta Society Pet Partner Therapy dog and is registered as a therapy dog through East Coast Assistance Dogs here in Torrington,CT. He loves to visit the hospital where he makes people smile, a true testament to this wonderful breed's loving nature.
Now that Tristan is retired he is mostly enjoying the life of lounging around, going for walks and rough housing with the other dogs. He is also enjoying the show ring in another aspect.,having partnered with my oldest niece Stephanie-- and what a team they are; check out the Jr handling page for details. my youngest niece Nikki has also started her Jr's career with Tristan at her side. Iam considering competing (someday) in agility with Tristan, as he loves it and does really well.
